Jiang Xiaoshuai came in with Guo Chengyu. As soon as he walked in, Jiang went straight to the bed, lifted Wu Suowei’s blanket, and gently raised his hospital gown to inspect his injuries.
“Tut tut… not a light injury! Quite a price to pay for this little act of yours!”
Wu was still smiling at first, but the moment he heard that, his face fell.
Who said this was an act?
Jiang leaned in close and whispered into Wu’s ear, “Didn’t you pull this whole hero-saving-the-beauty stunt just to win over Sister Jiali?”
Wu shot back indignantly, “You think I’m that shameless? That I’d hang a kid off the sixth floor just for that?”
Jiang chuckled. “I’m just messing with you.”
Then Jiang stared at Wu for a while, a look of disdain on his face.
“Why does your hospital gown look so ugly?”
Wu said indifferently, “What hospital gown ever looks good? They’re all like this.”
Jiang shook his head. “No, yours is especially ugly.”
He put extra weight on the word especially.
Chi Cheng went out to throw away the dishes, leaving only Guo in the room. Wu looked down at his gown, annoyed, then turned to Guo.
“Is this gown really that bad?”
Guo replied, “It’s… not exactly flattering.”
Jiang added, “You look like an idiot in it.”
The more Wu listened, the more irritated he got. When Chi came back in, Wu immediately said to him, “Hey, when you go home later, bring me a couple changes of clothes. This gown looks awful.”
“What do you need to look good in a hospital for?” Chi’s tone was harsh. “Just deal with it and change when you get home.”
Wu snapped back, “What’s the big deal about bringing me some clothes? I still need something to change into while I’m staying here!”
Chi said, “What if something happens while I’m gone?”
“The hospital’s only a short way from home! You could go and come back in the time it takes to have a chat, what are you worried about?”
Before Chi could answer, Jiang chimed in, “How about letting Guozi go get them for you? He’s free all afternoon.”
Wu brightened up. “Perfect. And you go with him! You’ve got good taste, pick out something nice for me. All those employees coming to visit, I need to keep up appearances.”
He snuck a glance at Chi, and seeing no objections, he handed Jiang the key.
Outside, Jiang and Guo exchanged a knowing smile.

When Jiang and Guo arrived at Chi’s place, they immediately started rummaging through everything, looking for the legendary premium GV (gay video) Jiang had been itching to see for ages.
Ever since Dou Dou and Quan Quan had moved in, Wu had organized all his porn and transferred it to Chi’s external hard drive, which he kept on him 24/7.
But the clip Chi had filmed of Wu hadn’t yet been archived or rather, Chi hadn’t finished editing it before Wu landed in the hospital.
As Jiang rummaged, he asked Guo, “Hey, don’t you think it’s kind of immoral for us to be here stealing porn while he’s still in the hospital?”
Guo replied casually, “What’s immoral about it? We’re not doing anything terrible. Just watching, it’s not like we’re spreading it around.”
Jiang thought about it and nodded, if they found it, they’d watch; if not, oh well.
After searching for a while and still finding nothing, Jiang began to suspect, “You think Chi didn’t burn it to a disc? Maybe it’s just on the computer?”
“No,” Guo said with certainty. “He has this habit, anything he records, he burns to a disc.”
As Jiang continued searching, he noticed out of the corner of his eye that Guo seemed a little too invested.
It was fine for him to want to see Wu’s tape, they were bros, after all, naturally curious about each other’s sex lives.
But what was Guo so eager for?
“Guozi,” Jiang called.
Guo was staring off into space, deep in thought, and didn’t hear him.
Annoyed, Jiang went over and slapped him. “What kind of shady thoughts are you having?”
Guo squinted and murmured, “I’m just trying to figure out where Chi would hide something this important.”
“Let me ask you: why are you so invested in Dawei’s GV?”
Guo replied, “I’m just helping you find what you want to see. Didn’t I tell you? Whatever you want, I’ll do my best to get for you.”
“Get lost!” Jiang wasn’t buying it. “You just wanna see Dawei!”
“What would I want with him?” Guo pinched Jiang’s ass. “He’s not as slutty as you…”
Jiang gritted his teeth and turned away, ignoring him.
The truth was, Guo wanted to see Chi.
A moment later, inspiration struck Guo.
“Hey, Shuaishuai.”
Jiang pretended not to hear and walked further away.
“I know where Chi hid the disc.”
At those words, Jiang bolted back to him in a flash.
“Where?”
Guo’s expression was sharp and confident. “First, let’s figure something out. Do you think Chi knows we came here to steal his disc?”
That was worth thinking about.
“I think,” Jiang said cautiously, “he probably doesn’t know Dawei told me about it. So he wouldn’t suspect us.”
“You think he’s that dumb?” Guo scoffed. “Even if Wu didn’t tell him about the leak, Chi could still guess that Wu would say something.”
“Why?” Jiang asked.
Guo smiled faintly. “Because Wu is just as much of a gossip as you.”
“Fuck!!”
Guo quickly calmed him down. “Listen, if he knew we were coming, he’d have prepared for it. So, if you had to hide it, where would you put it?”
“On me,” Jiang said.
“You’d carry something that obvious on you? Asking to get caught?”
“Don’t they say the most dangerous place is the safest?”
Guo nodded. “Maybe. But the most dangerous place isn’t on him.”
“Then where?”
Guo grinned. “On the computer.”
He walked over, opened the DVD drive, and pulled out a disc, waving it in front of Jiang.
A true sly fox!, Jiang thought with admiration.
He eagerly urged Guo to open it.
But then, a password prompt popped up.
“Fuck, it needs a password?!”
Jiang cursed while Guo just smirked, of course something this private would be password-protected.
So the two of them put their heads together trying to crack it.
But every guess they tried failed. Software cracking would take too long and might even damage the file.
Then a horrifying thought occurred to Guo, a password he really didn’t want to believe.
After a moment of hesitation, he typed it in.
And it opened.
Guo’s face turned green.
Jiang, unaware, pressed him, “Hey, what was the password?”
Guo mumbled something to brush him off, but the real password was:
“I wanna fuck Jiang Xiaoshuai.”
Chi, you bastard, you did this on purpose!
Guo had a bad feeling but still clicked play.
A moment later, Chi’s face appeared on screen, wearing a wicked smile.
“I knew you two would come snooping for this tape,” Chi said, shaking the disc in his hand. “If you’ve got the guts, come pull it out of the screen!”
Pull it out… pull it out…
Jiang’s face turned purple with rage.
“Fuck, he played us!”
Guo said nothing.
Jiang punched Guo twice on the shoulder. “You’d better figure out a way to deal with him, he’s begging for a beating!”
