Wu Suowei tried to turn his head to see who it was, but another blast of water hit him in the face, almost choking him. He fended it off while wiping the water from his face, and from the laughter nearby, he could tell it was Jiang Xiaoshuai.
“You little punk… urgh…”
Before he could finish, Jiang shot another stream from his water gun right into Wu’s mouth. Wu cursed and dodged, but when he couldn’t escape anymore, he abandoned his stall and started running. Jiang chased after him, spraying the whole way.
Eventually, Jiang’s water gun ran dry, and he had to go refill it, finally giving Wu a break.
Now thoroughly soaked, the breeze made his legs shiver.
Panting and cursing, Wu spotted Guo Chengyu’s car suddenly pulling up.
“Can’t you control Jiang Xiaoshuai? He’s shooting me with a water gun!” Wu complained.
Guo replied calmly, “Wait here, I’ll get you a towel from the car.”
But instead of a towel, he came back with two oversized high-pressure water guns, and sprayed Wu again.
In his heart, Wu howled: You pair of shameless bastards, bullying me together while Chi Cheng isn’t here!
Wu bolted, lungs about to burst, and ducked into a narrow alley to escape Jiang and Guo’s double attack.
Squatting at the base of a building, he panted and scanned his surroundings, keeping watch for them.
Suddenly, a water balloon burst over his head.
“What the hell? Who—?”
Looking up, he saw Wang Shuo leaning out a second-floor window, smirking.
“Wu Big-Eyes!”
Then, bam bam bam, a barrage of water balloons rained down, forcing Wu to scurry around.
Wang Shuo laughed maliciously, “I’ll show you what it means to blow up balloons, ha!”
Wu fled east and turned a corner, only to slam into a tall figure.
Looking up, he saw Wang Zhen’s stern face glowing like a savior.
“Save me!” Wu cried, overjoyed. “Those three—”
Before he could finish, Wang Zhen somehow produced a hose and sprayed him directly.
This time Wu couldn’t even run, collapsing to the ground like a drenched chicken, laughing and cursing.
Soon enough, Guo, Jiang, and Wang Shuo all gathered around. Together, taking advantage of Chi Cheng’s absence, the four of them unleashed ruthless “torment” on Wu, and oh, it felt so satisfying!

Wu cowered in a corner, three water guns targeting his most vulnerable spots; water balloons pelted him like rain, making him howl; and a hose blasted him head to toe, leaving him completely soaked through.
“You vultures, kicking me while I’m down!”
“Just you wait, when I make my comeback, I’ll tie you all up and dump you in a sewer!”
“Ahhh! Help! Somebody help!”
The more he yelled, the more gleeful the four attackers became.
Jiang had been holding himself back for so long, he had to let off steam. Guo had been running around on Chi’s behalf and playing monk for days, time to collect that debt. Wang Shuo had been waiting months for revenge. And Wang Zhen… well, he just thought Wu was too hot and genuinely wanted to cool him down.
While the four of them were having their fun, suddenly a powerful wall of water surged from behind, nearly knocking Jiang and Wang Shuo over.
Guo wiped his face, squinted, and looked back.
Well, damn, a water-spraying truck was parked there!
Driving it was Gangzi, who had gotten word early and rented the truck just for this.
On top of the truck stood their mighty, imposing commander Chi Cheng, wielding the mounted water cannon and blasting the four troublemakers.
Seeing Chi, Wu instantly got his energy back. He leapt up, grabbed Jiang’s dropped water gun, and fired at him.
Once Jiang was thoroughly soaked, Wu pointed at Wang Shuo and shouted to Chi, “Spray him! Soak the bastard!”
But Chi ignored everyone else and trained his cannon squarely on Wang Zhen, commanding Gangzi to drive as he kept chasing him down with the powerful hose, determined to drown him.
The fight was still raging when Wu called out confidently, “Chi Cheng! Hurry! They’re ganging up on me!”
Chi jumped down from the truck, leaving Gangzi to handle Wang Zhen. He rushed to Wu, scooped him up, shielding him tightly, and dashed toward the truck while dodging attacks.
But just as they reached it, Wang Zhen launched himself at the truck door, his iron elbow forcing it open and tossing Gangzi out.
Chi, seeing the situation turn, carried Wu and bolted in the opposite direction.
“Get on the truck!”
Guo shouted, leaping aboard first, with Wang Shuo right behind. Jiang, as usual, was the clumsiest, he slipped trying to jump on and nearly fell under the wheels, but Guo quickly grabbed and hauled him up.
“You useless idiot!” Wang Shuo cursed at Jiang, laughing.
But then Wang Zhen floored the gas, and Wang Shuo, losing his footing, fell flat on his back, luckily landing on his butt.
“Wang Zhen, you bastard!”
“Guo, you two-faced traitor! Always saving Jiang but not me?!”
Grumbling and cursing, Wang Shuo chased after the truck until Wang Zhen finally stopped and let Guo and Jiang haul him back up.
