17: He’s So Fucking Hot!
Surrounded by a crowd of friends, Sheng Shaoyou stepped off the go-kart track. He wore a red-and-white racing suit and a bright red helmet, with broad shoulders, a trim waist, and a tall, striking figure.
Hua Yong stood outside the track, staring at him without blinking.
Among the three who had just finished racing, the host Li Baiqiao had the worst driving skills and could only manage the most basic recreational model. Another quiet Beta picked a 250cc kart, while only Sheng Shaoyou sat in the deep blue four-stroke engine kart at the end of the lineup.
Li Baiqiao was cocky despite his terrible driving and bragged to Sheng from the back of the line, “Shaoyou, that four-stroke was specially prepped for you by yours truly—she’s a virgin too! Ride her well, don’t waste her. When you’re done, I’ll practice for a couple of days and take her for a spin too. Maybe I’ll soak up some of Sheng the Almighty’s racing magic!”
Sheng Shaoyou sensed some innuendo and immediately looked displeased, but since Li hadn’t said anything outright, he let it slide and sneered, “You think you can handle a four-stroke? Your dad’s making so much money and still counting on you to ruin him. Stay put in that 100cc kiddie kart where you belong!”
Li Baiqiao’s suggestive comments about Hua Yong pissed Sheng off. Fueled by anger, he hit the gas hard and ended up matching his personal best, clocking in at just under 33 seconds in the first session.
Li Baiqiao wasn’t so lucky. Over eight laps, he crashed twice and ended up stuck against the safety barrier, waiting for the rescue crew. In the end, he proudly clocked a lap average of 1 minute and 42 seconds—a real “achievement.”
After a few sessions, everyone was exhausted.
When Sheng got out of his kart and took off his helmet, Hua Yong noticed that the Alpha named Cheng Zhe had been standing next to him the whole time. Hua Yong handed Sheng a sports drink, then turned to the Alpha who hadn’t taken his eyes off him once and asked politely, “Mr. Cheng, aren’t you going to ride? Isn’t it boring just standing here?”
Cheng Zhe replied, “Not boring at all. I’m enjoying watching Sheng and the others race.”
“Really?”
“Yeah,” Cheng said. “Besides, riding alone isn’t that fun. Sheng-ge doesn’t like riding motorcycles—says they’re too dangerous.”
“Are motorcycles really that dangerous?” Hua Yong tilted his head curiously. “Don’t people wear riding gear?”
“Exactly!” Cheng Zhe lit up as if he’d found a kindred spirit. Excited, he almost grabbed Hua Yong’s hand but held back when Hua Yong subtly stepped away. Cheng quickly recovered and patted him on the shoulder instead. “I’ve always said the same thing! The track is way safer than street riding. Ah Yong, if you’re interested, I could teach you sometime.”
Hua Yong nodded. “Thank you, Mr. Cheng.”
Just as they were chatting, Hua Yong suddenly felt a weight on his shoulder. He turned and saw Sheng Shaoyou draping himself heavily on him, practically hanging off him with a sour tone: “What are you two chatting about, huh? Sounds like fun. Even thanking each other?”
Hua Yong immediately smiled and said, “Mr. Cheng offered to teach me to ride a race bike!”
Sheng leaned in close, and Hua Yong, unbothered by the public attention, leaned his smooth forehead against Sheng’s and praised softly, “Mr. Sheng, you looked so cool out there on the track.”
“Really?” Sheng’s scowl vanished instantly. He reached out to tap Hua Yong’s straight nose. “Been sneaking sugar behind my back, haven’t you? Why’s your mouth so sweet?”
“I’m just telling the truth.”
Cheng Zhe watched the two flirt with each other and felt a sour ache in his chest. Just as he was finally recovering from his earlier longing, it surged back up again. He turned to glance at Li Baiqiao—who was known for being obsessed with beautiful people—only to see that Li too was staring, dumbfounded.
No one knew where Sheng had picked up such a breathtaking beauty. That light orchid scent alone could stir a man’s heart. Cold and distant when expressionless, yet sweet and seductive when he smiled—completely untouched by any air of vulgarity.
Cheng Zhe and Li Baiqiao exchanged a look that screamed: “Holy shit, I’m drooling.”
But considering how possessive Sheng was being, they had no choice but to suppress it.
Forget it. Bro code and all. This little orchid had serious skills—enough to make the famously generous Sheng guard him like treasure.
Could it be this captivating beauty wasn’t just a casual companion… but actually a little madam?
Cheng Zhe had been into motorcycles for years, but his recent obsession with race bikes only started within the last couple of years. Still, his skills were solid, and seeing Hua Yong’s interest made him want to show off even more.
Hua Yong tugged on Sheng’s sleeve and shyly asked if he could try riding a motorcycle.
Sheng refused immediately at first. But under Hua Yong’s hopeful gaze and after triple-confirming safety with the coach, he relented.
Hua Yong quickly changed into riding gear, and even Sheng—who was used to seeing him every day—was momentarily stunned.
The air seemed to freeze; everyone held their breath in awe.
The little orchid now wore a sleek black riding suit. The protective padding hugged his body, outlining his narrow waist, perky butt, and long, slender legs. Cradling a glossy black helmet in his arms, with soft chestnut-brown hair falling over his forehead—he was devastating.
Even the most innocent look in his eyes now carried a seductive hook, triggering primal Alpha instincts.
But in his eyes and heart, there was only Sheng Shaoyou. He turned to Sheng and smiled softly, exclusively, saying, “Mr. Sheng, I’m ready.”
Once again, Sheng suspected his rut hadn’t truly ended. Why else would such insane thoughts plague him?
He wanted to pin those delicate wrists and ankles, kiss those lips, grip that tight waist, and bury himself deep in that untouched, hidden garden.
Rubbing his temples, Sheng regretted ever letting him near a motorcycle. He shouldn’t have allowed him to parade around in that outfit…
Because—he’s so fucking hot!
The engine roared, a silver-gray race bike tore through the track like lightning.
After just two warm-up laps, Cheng Zhe never managed to catch up with the orchid again.
That orchid must’ve been the reincarnation of a racing god. His seemingly fragile wrists firmly gripped the bike’s controls as he leaned into turns like a sleek black panther, possessing a natural intuition rivaling professionals. His sense of braking, timing, throttle—all flawless. Even the coach who had walked him through the track earlier stood slack-jawed.
Li Baiqiao stood next to Sheng at the observation point, shielding his eyes from the overwhelming dazzle of this rare orchid.
He elbowed Sheng and asked, “Where the hell did you find this flower? Got any siblings? Even cousins will do—I need my shot at luck!”
Sheng smirked proudly. “He’s got a younger sister, but she’s still a kid.”
“Kid’s fine. I’ll wait. Even if she’s still in the womb—if she’s got half the charm of her brother, I’ll wait till it’s legal and mark her first chance I get!”
Sheng looked at him with mock sympathy. “Hate to break it to you—his sister’s an Alpha.”
Li Baiqiao deflated instantly, like a wilting eggplant.
“Shaoyou, I go to the temple every damn year to burn incense! I’m more devoted than you, kneeling and praying like my life depends on it. Why the hell does the universe favor you with all the good stuff?!”
Sheng quipped, “Maybe because you’ve racked up too much bad karma?”
“Bullshit!” Li protested. “What bad karma?!”
But when Hua Yong walked off the track, sweat glistening and still looking like a meal, Li immediately drooped again.
“All the best beauties are supposed to be at Heaven & Earth, right?! So why’ve I never seen one like this? Fuck, Zheng Yushan’s connections must be slipping. I need to hound him to find me someone just as spicy!”
Zheng Yushan was a shareholder of Heaven & Earth and Li’s childhood friend. Though not as wealthy as Sheng, he had wide connections and ran several upscale clubs around Jianghu.
He had also been the one to first introduce Sheng to Shen Wenlang.
Sheng chuckled, “Actually, it was Yushan who introduced me to Hua Yong.”
“What?!” Li jumped. “That fucker! I thought we were brothers! He gives you the premium goods and leaves me with nothing?!”
“What goods?” Sheng snapped, face darkening. “Watch your mouth, Li Baiqiao. If you can’t talk properly, shut the hell up.”
Li knew Sheng was hard to please—and Hua Yong was currently off-limits. That orchid sat squarely on Sheng’s heart.
But nothing lasts forever. He and Cheng Zhe were both biding their time, waiting for Sheng to get bored.
Still, seeing Sheng genuinely pissed, Li shut up and mimed zipping his lips. “Alright, alright, I’ll behave. But come on, how’d Yushan hook you up with such a rare little white orchid?”
“Hua Yong was Shen Wenlang’s secretary.”
“Huh? Shen Wenlang?”
“Yeah. Yushan set me and Shen up. Though our companies never ended up collaborating…”
Sheng’s eyes were fixed on the Omega across the track, who was now chatting with the coach about cornering techniques. His tone was calm but possessive: “…but I did get Hua Yong. So I didn’t lose out.”
“Holy shit!” Li exploded. “Shen Wenlang had that fine piece of ass next to him every day and never marked him?! Is that guy even a real Alpha?!”
“Shen hates Omegas.”
“Then why keep Hua Yong around?”
“He’s the only Omega on his staff.”
“Damn! That sounds dangerous for your little madam.”
Sheng didn’t correct him. He simply said, “But Hua Yong only likes me.”
Li clutched his chest like his heart had been stabbed. “Right, right, everyone knows you’re irresistible. But only likes you? Damn it, Sheng, are you trying to kill me with sweetness? I’ve had enough sugar for a lifetime—I’m gonna get cavities!”
He said that, but deep down Li thought: Until he’s permanently marked, nothing’s certain.
Today, he likes you. Tomorrow, he just might like me.
But he only dared think it. Say it out loud, and Sheng Shaoyou would knock his teeth out.
