Hi there, and welcome to XiaoXinnovels!
I’m Xiao Xin (pen name) – a passionate reader, translator, and unapologetic fan of all things danmei, especially when it comes to my favorite pairing: Guo Chengyu (Zhan Xuan) × Jiang Xiaoshuai (Liu Xuancheng) from Revenged Love. If you’ve ever stumbled across my posts on X (formerly Twitter), you’ve probably seen me sharing their sweetest (and sometimes spiciest) moments, headcanons, and all the little details that make this ship so special.
This blog is my little corner of the internet, a place where I can share Chinese novel translations for fellow readers who love danmei as much as I do. Think of it as a cozy reading room, where you can curl up with a cup of tea/coffee, and chat with someone who’s just as obsessed as you are.
What You’ll Find Here
I mainly translate Chinese novels into English or Indonesian for entertainment (fan) purposes only. These translations are my personal passion project, born out of a love for storytelling and the wish to make these beautiful stories more accessible to those who can’t read the original language.
A Few Friendly Guidelines
While I’m always happy to share my work with fellow fans, I do have a few rules:
- Screenshots are welcome!
Feel free to share snippets on social media if you want to gush about a favorite moment. - Please give proper credit.
If you share my translations outside this blog, a simple mention or link back means a lot. - No re-translations without permission.
For now, I’m not allowing my translations to be re-translated into other languages. This is just to prevent potential confusion or future issues. If you’d like to translate the story into your own language, I highly recommend going back to the original Chinese source. It’s the best way to ensure accuracy and give proper respect to the original author. - Be kind.
This is a fan space. Let’s keep it friendly, supportive, and fun for everyone who’s here to enjoy the same thing we do.
Why I Started This Blog
I’ve been a reader of Chinese novels for years, and at some point, I realized I wanted to do more than just read them quietly on my own. I wanted to share them. Translating started as something small, just me, practicing my language skills and sharing little snippets for fun.
This blog was born out of both love and a little heartbreak.
I actually started out on Wattpad, sharing my translations there for fellow fans who loved the same stories I did. It was a fun, exciting space… until one day, my account was deleted, along with everything I’d worked on. Thankfully, I had already moved all my translations to safety before things got worse, but that experience was the push I needed to finally create a home of my own.
And that’s how XiaoXinnovels came to life.
Here, I don’t have to worry about losing everything overnight. This blog is my safe corner of the internet, my little fandom home, where I can share my love for translating novels and celebrate the stories and characters that mean so much to me (yes, especially Guo Chengyu × Jiang Xiaoshuai). It’s a place where I can freely connect with readers, gush about my favorite ships, and build something that’s truly ours.

If you’re reading this, thank you for being here. Whether you’re a longtime reader or someone who’s just discovering these stories for the first time, I hope this blog gives you a place to enjoy, laugh, and maybe even cry a little (because let’s be honest, some of these novels really know how to hit where it hurts).
So grab a comfy seat, scroll through the posts, and stay as long as you’d like. I’m always updating with new translations and content whenever I can. And if you ever want to chat about Guo Chengyu, Jiang Xiaoshuai, or anything else from this world, you’ll probably find me over on X, screaming about them in real-time.
Thanks again for stopping by. I’m so happy you’re here.
Happy reading, and welcome to my little bubble!
