Wang Shuo’s smug grin hadn’t even fully formed when Wu Suowei threw out an even sharper line. “You’re not your parents’ biological child.”
Wang Gu’s smile froze instantly, his face flushing a deep purple.
Just as Jiang Xiaoshuai walked in, he heard this sentence. His temple throbbed a few times, and he hurriedly threw an arm around Guo Chengyu’s shoulders, pushing him outside while saying,
“They’re still fighting in there, let’s go in later.”
Unexpectedly, Guo Chengyu said, “I already heard it.”
“Uh…” Jiang Xiaoshuai’s expression immediately matched Wang Gu’s.
Guo Chengyu gripped Jiang Xiaoshuai’s cheeks with his big hands, forcefully squeezing them toward the middle, turning his mouth from horizontal to vertical, making Jiang Xiaoshuai cry out in pain.
“I knew your mouth couldn’t keep a secret. Next time I’m telling you nothing. And don’t come to me for gossip either!” Guo said, pretending to be angry.
Jiang Xiaoshuai feared nothing but missing out on juicy gossip. He immediately clung to Guo’s arm and pleaded sweetly, “I won’t hold it against you for twisting my face, but please, let’s still gossip a little in the future. Just a little, no deep digging, okay?”
Guo Chengyu dropped a bombshell, “Every time you gossip, you lose one round in bed.”
That shut Jiang Xiaoshuai up completely.
——-
Wu Suowei reached out, pretending to grab a red one and said, “I want the yellow one.”
Chi Cheng twisted his arm hard.
Wu Suowei gasped and turned his head angrily. “Why won’t you let me take it?”
Chi Cheng raised his chin sternly. “Look again. What color is it?”
Wu squinted at it for a long while, then finally shrank his neck and muttered, “Red.”
Only then did Chi let him take it.
Wu Suowei’s color blindness training was starting to pay off, but it was still harder for him than for others. Sometimes he got lazy and just guessed, which often earned him a lesson from Chi Cheng.
Wu Suowei “complained” in public, rolling up his sleeve and pointing to faint bruises.
“Look, here, here, and here, all from him pinching me!”
To Wang Shuo, though, it sounded like bragging.
So he pulled his collar open and pointed to the bruises on his shoulders. “You’re weak. Look at this! Now this is an injury! All thanks to this guy.” He pointed at Wang Zhen, who sat there expressionless.
Guo Chengyu sighed. “You guys really go hard. I’m scared to even comb Jiang Xiaoshuai’s hair.”
Wu Suowei asked, puzzled, “What does that have to do with combing hair?”
Jiang Xiaoshuai cried out, “He combs my hair like he’s having sex!”
Guo teased, “I’m already very gentle. It’s just that your hair is so frizzy, it’s impossible to comb!”
As he spoke, he tugged at Jiang Xiaoshuai’s curls again.
Jiang Xiaoshuai punched him.
Wang Shio slammed the table and barked, “Would it kill you all to stop flaunting your affection?!”
