Jiang Xiaoshuai said, “Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu really do have a grudge. They grew up together and got along fine up through high school. Then a guy named Wang Shuo came between them—he and Chi Cheng dated for a while, but after Wang slept with Guo Chengyu, the two of them broke up. Wang later went abroad. On the surface Chi Cheng made up with Guo Chengyu, but underneath he’s been getting revenge ever since. Anything Guo Chengyu sets his sights on, Chi Cheng will find a way to sleep with. It’s been that way for years.”
Wu Suowei counted on his fingers—from high school till now—that was at least ten years.
“Guo Chengyu slept with his boyfriend once, and he’s been retaliating for a decade?”
Jiang nodded.
A chill ran through Wu Suowei. That’s vicious! If he figures out what I’m plotting, he’ll grind me into paste!
Jiang’s face turned grave. “You’d better think this through. If you can’t handle it, get out early. We can’t afford to cross someone like that.”
Wu Suowei said quietly, “We’ve come this far—there’s no turning back.”
They both fell silent for a moment. Suddenly Wu Suowei stiffened as a thought struck him.
“You said anything Guo Chengyu wants, Chi Cheng does everything he can to sleep with! Then you…” He trailed off.
“Don’t worry,” Jiang waved it off. “Guo Chengyu’s just fooling around with me. I blow him off, so Chi Cheng probably won’t come at me. And even if he does? All the better—it’ll get you off the hook! If you’re not up for it, your shifu will take the hit.”
Wu Suowei was so grateful he nearly knelt and kowtowed. “Xiaoshuai, I don’t have the words. I’m not good with flowery praise, but meeting you—my life’s been worth it!”
Jiang crossed one leg over the other and flashed a crooked grin. “Actually, I kinda like that baldy too.”
Wu Suowei: “…”
I love how they add this scene T_T
